Why is it called the Sofa festival?
- The reason is simply because we sometimes arrange Sofa Sessions -
house concerts, in Oslo. And then we wanted to arrange a festival too.

Sofafestivalen was born May 31 2010.

The festival takes place both in Oslo and in Berlin. Double fun!
It’s a small cosy festival, and it’s not meant to grow big.

Vi har ikke ord for det som har skjedd på Utøya og i Oslo, men vi tror og håper det er riktig å gjennomføre festivalen. Husk ofrene, ikke gjerningsmannen! Våre beste tanker til alle som er rammet.
